bletchley park post office was once the undercover mailroom for british code breakers during world war 2. It opened as a sub post office in 1947 after the top secret operations at bletchley park moved to GCHQ, cheltenham. in 1994 it issued the first of its very collectable covers. these are now sought after around the world and post issue values have risen enormously. it is now a re-creation of a 1940's wartime british post office and receive over 120,000 visitors per year. the website features a series of themed galleries covering a range of subjects. its cricket stamps and covers are especially collectable and have produced in association with the mcc,icc and bicc to name a few. it is also packed with historical information on bletchley park. | ||
