| Extremely Rare Tripura Postage and Revenue Stamps
Tripura is a beautiful hill state of North Eastern India and merged in the Indian Union in 1949. It has a very old culture and finds its mention even in the Mahabharata. Was ruled by the Manikya Dynasty kings till 1949 and probably is the only princely state never to come under British rule and stayed independent till its merger.
Tripura issued three stamps used for postage and revenue probably between 1930-1945. Stamps depicts three kings of the then ruling dynasty.
These stamps are extremely rare used or unused. The last one is probably not even listed.
Hardly found on catalogues and even not available with top stamp dealers.
